What we collect
On this site, what you type into the pilot form: your name, restaurant, phone number, email, town, state, zip and the plan you picked, plus the technical basics any web server sees, such as your IP address. We also count visits to this site and to our dashboards, and measure how fast their pages load, with cookie-free analytics that record the page, the site that sent you, your browser, and your country and state, and store no personal information. On the demo line, and on your restaurant's line once you are a customer, the calls themselves: the audio, a transcript, and whatever a caller says, which can include a name, a phone number, an order or a booking. In the dashboard, your account: your name and email, any mobile you add for texts, a record of when you agreed to texts (for sign-in codes, with the wording you agreed to, your IP address and your browser), and a record of each sign-in with your IP address and browser. For fingerprint or face sign-in we keep a public key your device makes; your fingerprint or face never leaves your device.
Who else sees it
Service providers that help us run Rinqo process data on our instructions, under agreements with us, and only to provide the service. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Text messages
A mobile number you give us for texts is used only to send the texts it was given for: for a restaurant owner or manager, alerts about calls to their restaurant or a daily summary of them, and notices about their Rinqo account; for anyone on a restaurant's team who agrees to sign-in codes by text, a one-time code each time they sign in with their password, and when they ask for one to confirm it is them. Rinqo does not text a restaurant's callers today. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as the providers that deliver our text messages, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text from Rinqo to stop them, or HELP for help.
How long we keep it
Every call made to Rinqo reaches us, on the demo line and on a customer's line, and we use those recordings and transcripts to run the service and to improve it: to review how the agent performed, fix its mistakes and make it better at the job. Demo calls are kept for that review; write to us and we will delete yours. Pilot requests are kept until you ask us to remove them. For customers, call recordings, transcripts and the details captured for you are kept while the account is active and deleted within 30 days of closing it, unless the law says otherwise. We may keep anonymised, aggregated figures about calls afterwards, such as how many there were, how long they ran and what kinds of questions came up; nothing in them identifies a caller or a restaurant. Sign-in records are kept for 13 months.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Our providers encrypt stored data at rest. Each restaurant's records are separated by rules enforced in the database itself, not only in the application. Sign-in uses fingerprint or face sign-in, or a password followed by a second check: a texted code, an authenticator app or a recovery code. There is no card number anywhere in Rinqo: the agent will not take one on a call and there is no field to store one.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you at any time. Email support@rinqo.ai and we will answer within 48 hours. If you called a restaurant that uses Rinqo, that restaurant owns the record of your call; write to us anyway and we will route your request to them.
